Add to that the usual amount of people not familiar with the Hoppa and asking the driver multiple questions the journey took over 50 minutes! Quicker to get the HEX into Paddington and stay there, possibly almost as quick to get to Gatwick! Those staying at the Premier Inn had an even longer journey. The first stop after T5 was the Sofitel! Is this some plan to rip off tourists? The bus then went to T4, Holiday Inn Ariel and Ibis before reaching the DoubleTree. This particular service must be the worst of all the Hoppa services. ![]() Buses to Terminals 4 and 5 drop off outside the arrivals hall.Staying at the DoubleTree (don't normally use it when coming from T5 and when in T3 I tend to get a TFL bus) and as there's no direct TFL bus from T5 to this hotel I thought I might as well get the Hoppa (H56). Its then a short, well signposted walk from there to either terminal. Local buses to Terminals 2 and 3 stop at Heathrow Central Bus Station which is located between terminals 2 and 3. Beyond the perimeter roads you will pay the normal bus fare. Buses are free as long as you get off/on the buses on the perimeter roads of the airport and travel to and from the passenger terminals. These buses stop right outside all of our hotels, except for the M4/J4 hotel where the nearest bus stop is a 12-minute walk away. Heathrow Airport subsidises all public buses so that any journey from the Heathrow Airport to hotels on the perimeter road is free. Hoppa Buses drop off and pick up from outside the arrivals hall of each of the passenger terminals. There are no flights in or out of Heathrow between about midnight and 5am.
